New Technology & Procedures

Dear Patients,


We want to start by saying WE HAVE MISSED YOU ALL!!!


As many of you know, the safety and well-being of our patients and team has always been a top priority at Parkway Dental. With this in mind, as we reopen, we will be implementing additional procedures for both the patients and the team to ensure that the greatest quality of dental care and safety can continue for all involved.


During Your Visit…


  • We will request that patients arrive wearing a mask.

  • We ask that in an effort to maintain social distancing, only one person should accompany the patient if necessary.

  • No food, drink or unnecessary items will be allowed.

  • We ask if you are experiencing any flu-like symptoms or have been exposed to anyone who recently had covid-19, that you reschedule your appointment.

  • Our office will communicate with you at your arrival to ask screening questions and obtain your temperature.

  • We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office.

  • You may see that our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, children’s books, etc. since those are difficult to clean and disinfect.

  • Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. But this may mean that you will be offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.

  • We will do our best to allow greater time between patients and to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.


What You Can Expect From The Team…


  • All team members will be fully equipped with sterile PPE gear at all times. This means wearing N-95 masks, gloves, face shields, and sterile lab coats while seeing patients.


  • All components throughout the office will be disinfected after each use; i.e. door handles, chairs, countertops...


New Technology for Increased Safety


Clean Leaf Air Filtration Systems:

To help maintain high air quality within our facilities, we have purchased and will be operating THREE Clean Leaf air units at each office. These systems are designed to constantly “clean the air.” To be more precise, one Clean Leaf air filtration unit will be located within the waiting room, and two others will be located throughout or near the operating rooms. These machines are able to “clean and cycle” the air within a room every 8 minutes! You can learn more about these great products we will be implementing here:


UV Wand Sanitizers:

The dental team will incorporate UV Wand Sanitizers to increase the sterilization process of our procedures.


We as a team will constantly do our best to over communicate our revised expectations of our team and patients via phone and/or email. It is understood that we are truly in this together and expect nothing but the very best from all those involved.


Through this all, we will continue to provide precise, efficient, cosmetic, and cost effective dental care while implementing state of the art technology to diagnose and treat.
